Module One - Chakras Part 1

OBJECTIVES:

discover what extra sensory perception is

develop a greater understanding of the chakras including their background and capability

what is esp

As well as physical senses you also have subtle senses. You will learn how to operate them and take care of them, which will give you a perfect platform on which to build extra-sensory perception (ESP) and thus create yourself as a powerful multi-sensory conscious human being.

what is a chakra?

Chakras are the subtle, non physical senses, they are highly sensitive receptors for subtle energy and information. Chakra is a Sanskrit word, meaning a spinning wheel. Although often much can be lost in translation from Sanskrit to English, the essence is that of a spinning wheel-shaped receptor, allowing energy and information to percolate into our awareness. Consider a torus, donut or wheel shaped doorway that can open to receive spiritual communication beyond our five senses; bridging the physical and the spiritual worlds.

Each Chakra tuned to its optimum frequency or vibration, operating with a specific function. The 2D diagrams below mimic a Torus field of energy that offer a good visual representation of the Chakras.

“Torus - A doughnut-shaped surface generated by a circle rotated about an axis in its plane that does not intersect the circle.” - Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary

heightened awareness

Because Chakras are subtle senses, as you learn to operate them more consciously, you may experience a heightened state of awareness. This heightened awareness is often accompanied by extra sensitivity, and initially could cause emotional anxiety and tiredness. It is therefore, helpful to cleanse your energy field and close or adjust the chakras to limit being overwhelmed by surrounding energy and information. You will be guided how to do this.

background

The belief in Chakras dates back thousands of years and much has been written about them. The Chakra is usually defined as a point in the human energy field. It is a centre point of spiritual energy in the ancient tradition of Sanatan Dharma, which is absolute philosophy of life and oneness of the Universe. Chakras also feature in other spiritual belief systems. In the East, they are represented by various 2D sacred geometry shapes, with the crown Chakra often shown as a thousand petal lotus flower. The visual metaphor of the lotus flower represents the Chakras, and the number of petals vary in each Chakra.

Although the Chakras are not parts of the physical body, they are located along a set of invisible pathways (meridians) within the body, along which vital energy is said to flow. It is traditionally believed that Chakras can cooperate with, and enhance our physical senses. Because their range extends beyond the physical world, they offer us access to information in a way that is sometimes referred to as, supernatural, superhuman or even miraculous.

It can be useful to develop a greater awareness and understanding of the information that is accessible through these subtle sensors. Those who have developed their awareness are often referred to as Empaths, Mediums, Metaphysicians, Mystics, Oracles, Psychics, Sensitives, Shamans, Sadhus, Yogis, Wise Wo(men) and so on.

Modern medical science is discovering things the mystics have known for centuries; that the human body is not only flesh and blood, but also an inner universe of moving energy. This energy has an affect on our health, well-being, capacity to give and receive love, confidence, wisdom, communication, ability to focus and so on. Once you understand your energy and how to regulate it, you will have a perfect foundation on which to build your metaphysical abilities and your life in general.

As mentioned already, the Lotus Flower is typically used to depict the Chakras, because they rise up from the mud or Earth towards the light, representing how our mind rises up from the metaphorical mud of life on Earth to reach towards enlightenment.

As mentioned, the Lotus Flower is typically used as a metaphor to depict the Chakras. The lotus flower metaphor also signifies how it rises up from the mud or Earth towards the light, to signify how our mind rises up from the metaphorical mud of life on Earth reaching towards enlightenment.

which chakra system?

Different wisdom schools can teach different Chakra systems, where often the names, uses and locations on the body differ depending on their objectives.

There are many Chakra energy points within the human energy field, and this course teaches the system specifically used for ESP. This system is known as The Left Hand Path (LHP), which sometimes gets ‘bad press’, because should the Chakras be unleashed carelessly, it can be overwhelming for the student. It is better that the tutor explains the do’s and don’ts of the system thoroughly before moving on. Ultimately you can use this system to connect to the magic of manifesting reality and begin to see a totally different perspective on life. To break free of a world where following the ‘norms’ keeps you stuck in the habit hole, even if it is regarded as being more acceptable.

The video below created by Christian Bredee, can be viewed on YouTube. It is a useful moving visual representation of a Torus field, which is a how the energy moves through the chakras in our own energy field. The word Chakra, translated means spinning wheel.

Should the link ever be broken you can search for ‘Shape of the Universe - Orange Theory’ if you would like to see it, but it is not essential.
