1. Clarify your intention and write it down. Edit it until you are satisfied. Use proactive language instead of passive. This process may take anywhere from 5 minutes to several weeks.
2. Begin by drawing a rectangle and divide it into six equal boxes.
3. The first box represents your current state, where you are now, and your dreams for achieving your goal. Don't worry about creating a masterpiece; a simple representation, such as stick figures or basic drawings, will work just fine. Choose the level of detail that feels comfortable for you.
4. The sixth box represents the achievement of your goal. Add this box when you feel ready and fully focused on your goal. You will become that!
5. Envision the stages or steps you anticipate going through to reach your desired outcome. Use the technique called "minute of this n that" covered previously, to imagine these stages. As you feel inspired, draw each stage in the boxes, creating a cartoon strip-like sequence. Use practice and consistency to lead you to form a purposeful habit!
6. Continuously fill in the boxes with the path or progression towards your goal. Feel free to make changes if something doesn't feel right. You don't have to complete the entire story in one go; take your time, just like the Egyptians did when carving glyphs. Some boxes may remain empty for a while until you figure out the next steps, as situations in your life change. And they will!
7. Keep drawing and filling in the squares until you have reached the end of your story. It's normal for some boxes to remain empty until you discover how to proceed. Remember, situations and circumstances in your life may change.
8. Once you have completed your visual representation, pay regular attention to it. Place it on the wall according to the significant feng shui placement mentioned in part 5.
9. Recognise and acknowledge any steps or progress you make along the way, no matter how small they may seem. Practice makes progress!
